I didn’t want to write anything, because opening up WordPress and devoting thirty minutes to a post would mean finally accepting that my procrastination has reached its ultimate height. I’m having a really hard time motivating myself lately. Like a really hard time. Don’t worry. I’m turning in assignments. But my time management has absolutely gone to pot and I’m starting to get concerned. Currently I’m resisting art history homework, a five page art history paper, work that would actually pay me money, perspective drawings, calling the financial aid office to redirect a mysterious check, and so on. Not. Good. I would/should shut down my internet, but I need it for school. It is a double-edged sword.

Product of Procrastination: Phil Wickham. We’ve been singing some of his songs at our church, and I finally googled him. His live cd is available for FREE download, which just about rocked my world. It’s a blend of his original songs and traditional hymns. I’ve been listening to it on repeat ever since, and it’s amazing the comfort that can be found in another’s words. My favorite is “Beautiful” – “When we arrive at eternity’s shore, Where death is just a memory and tears are no more, We’ll enter in as the wedding bells ring, Your bride will come together and we’ll sing, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful.”

Blessings to you on this Tuesday. May we proclaim all that He is, and maybe even acquire time management skills.
