Little Things

There’s all these different ways we, as humans, can love fellow humans, but I’m consistently humbled by the insurmountable ways God, as creator of the universe, loves us. I’m confident our God is devoted to our sanity and happiness, both short-term (like today) and for the remainder of eternity. Isn’t it incredible that our emotional well-being is provided for, even when it’s been a long week and we miss our mommies?

Praise the Lord for

full bellies (today’s lunch was leftover pizza. roasted garlic, caramelized onions, feta + mozzarella cheese. yum.)

Fridays and weekends

short-notice visits…my sweet mother’s visiting next weekend! clap your hands if you’re excited!

my little sister forgetting to log out of her Netflix account, and the subsequent 30 Rock (season 2) viewing that has followed

open-ended projects…it’s Westminster Woods Summer Camp brochure time!

Olympic-viewing with Bible study ladies

and sunshine.

HEY. You’ve gotten more visits this semester from people I love than I have. This must be fixed.

I’m so glad that your mother gets to visit. Apparently Caroline is going to school too close to home.
